Our office is 100% dedicated to providing each patient with personal attention, caring support and up-to-date information throughout the patient’s entire office and surgical experience. We take pride in staying current with the latest knowledge and procedures in the cosmetic and reconstructive field. We are always happy to answer any of your questions. About Dr. Mark H. Jensen

Dr. Mark Jensen has one of the fastest growing medical practices in Utah, covering Utah County, Salt Lake County and Davis County. As a highly skilled board certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Jensen has been highly sought after in all areas of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. The care and concern he has for his patients has earned him a great reputation.

Dr. Jensen graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Russian. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from one of the most highly acclaimed medical schools in the country, the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota. He chose to stay and continue his surgical training at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, which is consistently ranked as best-in-class for hospitals and surgical training, and there he completed his General Surgery residency and then a Plastic Surgery fellowship. Training under many of the top plastic surgeons in the nation, Dr. Jensen has gained expertise in many areas of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Completing 16 years of higher education, medical training and specializing in a surgical field, Dr. Jensen is committed to his field of study and wants the best results for his patients. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, as well as the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is a prestigious association restricted to only those with certain levels of plastic surgery ethics, experience and skill. The results he achieves are outstanding primarily because of his excellent training and the superior techniques he uses.

As a firm believer in charitable service and giving back, Dr. Jensen has provided medical care around the world to underserved communities, most recently in Johannesburg, South Africa and Lima, Peru. He also spent extensive time training at the Arizona Burn Center and devoted time working with the indigent at the county hospital in Phoenix. He has a long history of volunteer work and is active in his community. He currently serves on the Leadership Board for the Breast Center of Excellence in Utah Valley. Dr. Jensen is married and he and his wife have three wonderful, rambunctious children!

Dr. Jensen has been featured in Utah Valley Magazine as well as the national publication of People Magazine. He has been recognized with many prestigious awards, including the Jon A. Van Heerden award for clinical excellence; The Gold Foundation Humanism & Excellence award in teaching; and Dr. Jensen was a Hoffman Scholar, a Gooding Scholar, a Condit Scholar, and was awarded the Merit Scholarship. During his residency at the Mayo Clinic he was Chief Resident. Dr. Jensen has published numerous articles and papers in medical journals about the surgical research he has done which include research on Amniotic Band Syndrome, Soft Tissue Coverage of the Elbow, Postpneumonectomy Syndrome, Surgical Wound Care, Metastatic Carcinoid Tumors, Flap coverage of the upper extremity, and Hypothenar Hammer Syndrome. He has given presentations at multiple medical conferences around the nation, teaching other surgeons and medical professionals including the Microsurgical Symposium, the Minnesota Surgical Society, the Balfour Research Symposium, the Pancreas Club, and the General Thoracic Surgery Club. Dr. Jensen frequently has been the keynote speaker at the Utah Valley Wound Conference, Utah Valley Trauma Society, and the Utah Valley Tumor Board.

Lindsay Nyman - Nurse Practitioner

Lindsay comes to us with over 10 years of experience as a health care provider. She worked for a number of years as a Registered Nurse, before completing her Masters Degree, from Brigham Young University, becoming a Nurse Practitioner. For the past several years, working in a surgical setting, she has been actively involved in examining and diagnosing patients, analyzing lab and radiological studies, providing treatment options, formulating inpatient and outpatient care, and first assisting in surgeries. A strong part of Lindsay's experience has been in breast cancer treatments, which continues to be an integral part of her practice with Dr. Jensen. She is a great addition to our team and collaborates closely with Dr. Jensen regarding best treatment plans for patients. She is also a Certified Collagen Specialist and provides expertise in non-surgical facial rejuvenation with injectables such as Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane and other available soft tissue fillers. She is a proud mother of two and enjoys spending time with her husband and children skiing, biking and traveling. Lindsay feels that one of the most rewarding aspects of her job is seeing patients who come in thinking they will never look and feel the same, but they gain their confidence back after a life-changing surgery. 

 

Traci Ream - Licensed Aesthetician

One of Traci's passions is to help people feel beautiful. Whether working to promote healthy skin or just helping a patient enjoy a renewed level of confidence, Traci is passionate about skin care and helping others look and feel their best. Traci entered the field of aesthetics in 2014, after graduating with her Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University. She studied at the Cameo College of Essential Beauty, which is one of the few schools in Utah that offer medical aesthetics training, and received her Master Aesthetics License. Traci has extensive experience working with chemical peels, facials, and lasers, specializing in skin tightening and resurfacing, and loves consulting in skin care with her expansive product knowledge. She has certified in many speciality courses and keeps current on the advances of aesthetic products and treatments. A favorite part of her job is determining and customizing the best skin care regimen for each patient and their specific skin care needs. Traci emphasizes that aesthetic treatments are not only good for your appearance, but they are good for your overall health. In her free time she enjoys taking trips home to California to visit family.

 

Julie Chaffetz - Breast Cancer Patient Liaison

Julie has the unique opportunity and specialized focus to work one-on-one with our breast cancer patients. Julie helps our breast cancer patients manage their treatment and recovery through assisting them in individual situations such as helping with wig selection, reconstruction bras, finding solutions to skin changes, directing them toward community resources, or even which support group will be the best fit. Julie earned a Psychology degree from Brigham Young University and has worked in various professional fields such as an account manager for Nu Skin Enterprises, a local art distributor, private violin teacher, and as a registered dog breeder. Breast cancer comes close to home for Julie. Her mother-in-law passed away from this disease at the age of 51. She has a passion to help others and ease the burdens for those facing this battle. Her motto is that "breast cancer patients deserve to have confidence at any stage". Her role is designed to compliment the services provided by Dr. Jensen and his staff and we welcome Julie to this important position on our team. When Julie is not in the office you can find her supporting her three children in their life pursuits, as well as supporting her husband in his various roles as an elected official of the United States Congress.

 

Casidee Davies - Certified Surgical Assistant

Casidee is Dr. Jensen’s right hand during surgery. She received her Surgical Technology certificate from Dixie State in 2006. After working for several years as a Surgical Tech, Casidee went on for additional training at the Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting to become a certified Surgical Assistant. The preoperative tasks that she routinely performs promote positive patient care and a culture of safety for each plastic surgery. Casidee has worked in the medical field for 9 years and she feels that the best part of her job is being part of a procedure that will ultimately help the patient feel better.

 

Tiana Nichols - Patient Care Coordinator

Tiana joined Dr. Jensen's team several years ago after one of her sons required extensive reconstructive surgery due to an injury he sustained years before. After seeing the outcome of Dr. Jensen's skilled hands that transformed her son, Tiana was excited to jump on board and work for Dr. Jensen and again witness first-hand the amazing transformations of his patients. Tiana's excellent communication skills put patients at ease right from the start. She is available to help with questions regarding your consultation, scheduling, or any other concerns that may arise during your office visit. She is married and has 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Tiana is your first initial contact with Dr. Jensen's office when you walk through the front doors and immediately you will find her to be a great friend during your visits. She feels tremendous joy seeing patients' quality of life improve after surgery or a procedure. 

 

Becca Farrerr - Front Office Coordinator

Becca has a long history of front office support and we are excited to have her on our team. She is the initial point of contact for our patients when they come into our office. Becca helps to register and prepare the medical records of our patients. As she assists patients with registration needs, payments for service and other general information requests or questions, she keeps our office organized and our day running smoothly. Being able to greet and interact with patients is a highlight of her job. Becca enjoys meeting new people and creating new friendships. Because she has the chance to talk with every patient that comes into our office she enjoys watching the progression of our patients living happier and healthier lives. Outside of work Becca enjoys anytime she can spend with her husband and 3 kids, especially if they are either camping or boating.

 
Sadie Jensen

Sadie Jensen - Patient Care Assistant

Sadie assists Dr. Jensen during patient consultations, office procedures and with patient care. She graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors Degree in Public Health and plans to attend nursing school in the near future. She has worked for Revere Health for 4 years and a favorite part of her job is developing relationships with patients. Sadie ensures patients' needs are listened to, understood and resolved. Sadie helps prepare the patient to be seen by Dr. Jensen and helps with the day-to-day clinical duties. 

 

Brooke Bowen - Practice Manager

Having an interest in working directly with people, as well as supervising and developing programs for the workplace, Brooke assists in patients relations, oversees operative schedules and is administrative support to Dr. Jensen. Brooke has worked for Revere Health (formerly Central Utah Clinic) for several years as supervisor, while scheduling appointments and providing communication between providers, medical and office staff, as well as assisting patients with their medical questions and concerns. Brooke has studied at both Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. She will assist you during your consultations, pre-operative and post-operative visits, and office procedures. Brooke handles everything from additional scheduling to insurance approvals for surgery. Brooke enjoys time with her husband and teaching piano lessons. Her favorite part of her job is the daily interactions with patients and seeing their smiles when they schedule a surgery they have been anticipating and hoping for. She loves it even more when they come back after surgery and are so thrilled with their results.

 

Ryanne Owens - Appointment Scheduler

Ryanne is the friendly voice on the phone when you call in to our office. A favorite part of her job is that she is the first contact patients have with us. Ryanne has worked for Revere Health for several years and has been a project manager with patient scheduling. Ryanne handles incoming patient calls, scheduling appointments, relaying patient messages and updating patient records. She is a crucial link between patients and Dr. Jensen. She loves playing a part in helping our patients achieve their transformation goals. Ryanne is a proud mom of 3 children.

We are located in the American Fork Office Campus, close to the I-15 in Utah Valley. As part of the Revere Health (formerly Central Utah Clinic), our offices are warm, comfortable and inviting.
